Half term ( 16th Feb- 25th Feb)
In Glasgow we stayed with Auntie Sarah, Uncle Neil and Isla. (Well Sarah is my sister).
One day we went to a fab indoor swimming pool/slides, splash place - the Time Capsule
http://www.thetimecapsule.info/
The cousins together.
We spent a few hours in the water and then had lunch - great fun had by all.
The next day we went to a park (where was it Sarah?). Isla struggled a bit to keep up with her bigger cousins but managed to enjoy the day! Here are a few of the better shots we took.
Also managed a little bit of shopping.New school shoes for Sophie and a new dress for me for a 40th party (more about that later).
Had a good week off visiting the rels. Back to work now until Easter!

Half term ( 16th Feb- 25th Feb)
The Wallace's (we three of us) went on our travels completing over 400 miles in the week of half term. We went to visit the Muir Mansion in Glasgow, getting there via Liverpool and the Newton's.
While in Liverpool we went to Formby to find some information about red squirrels for Sophie's brownie project.

Spotted some red squirrels and these two large human looking ones up the trees!
Sorry readers it has been about a month since I lasted posted. It is hard working keeping up with what the Wallace's have been doing!
Sunday 10th February
The Wallace's along with the Laybourne's and a couple of Davis-Walls went to the Hexagon in Reading to watch the Guinness world record science live show.
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/science-live/
It was a bit odd. Some of the content was aimed at older children while some of the jokes where so silly there were aimed at those younger that George and Sophie. It was ok but weird. We watched clips of records being broken, watched as some members of the audience tried to break a record and also took part in a record (yes I can tick this off my 40 for 40 list!!). I think we all thought is was ok but not a good as expected (although what we expected I don't know!)
We managed to get a poster from the Hexagon - its still not up on the wall.
