Update on clutter
I have sold 3 things on ebay so far, sent 3 bags to the charity shop, 2 bags of clothes for the school collection and thrown out some stuff. All good so far. This weekend we have put down insulation in the loft and boarded it properly (thank you to Laybounes again). The house should be warmer now! But didn't throw anything out!

Over the last month I have been sorting out different cupboards or drawers. So have sorted some kitchen cupboards, bedroom drawers, kids toys etc. quite a bit has gone. I am sure to miss something soon -that all important item that I have been keeping for years just in case, which I have just thrown out will become useful! Hopefully not.

Booked a show
Going to the ideal home show with my lovely mum. I am buying her ticket for Mother's Day- I am so generous (free from Martin money tips ha ha ). My children can buy me my ticket too.

January

Thought I would have my own page so I can carry on blogging. I am not sure this page will be enough though?? Depends on how much I talk about that is not part of the Wallace adventure!!

To start with I am going to give myself 13 tasks to complete this year. I had thought about 12- 1 per month but as it is 2013 I have gone for 13!! And 13 is not unlucky for the Wallace's. Iain was born on Friday 13th!! And lived at number 13 all his life!!

These are a bit like resolutions but I am not going to fail!!

So list of tasks (no particular order):
1) Fly away (we have a hot air balloon trip already paid for from last year)
2) Go on a Segway - again a carry over from last year
3) Get more healthy - lose 1 stone by the end of the year (at least) - and keep it off.
4) Brew something fizzy - making wine and cider is my hobby and I have not had time to make any for at least a year. So hopefully I can fit in some brewing in.
5) Try some more kitchen techniques - I like to cook and bake but never have time!! Perhaps if I have this task it will make me do this??
6) Go to a show - so watch a show, see a show. For example there is a cake and bake show in London in September. Or perhaps the ideal home show?
7) Do some sewing - I got a sewing kit for Christmas
8) Declutter the house
9) Create a playlist for every year of my life (doing this with Claire for her 40 by 40 list)
10) Have a winter picnic

So not enough tasks. Any ideas any one??
